Green eyed monster

Robin's Kerhonkson Kook bootlicker has posted a really weird piece on his smoked bacon blog. He talks about some Kerhonkson or Accord person nobody has ever heard of being angry at Sue Cummings for Cummings' support of a possible casino in the area. Then he gets all bent out of shape because this person is applauding Terry Bernardo for supporting a casino.

From this weird piece he posted, the Kerhonkson Kook somehow thinks that this is bad leadership on Bernardo's part.

Excuse us, but we at Mocking Robin think that being able to turn an opponent of a project into an ally is a pretty decent sign of good leadership. Maybe the Kook is pissed off because he and his ditzy wife spent so many years trying to bully people into doing what they want and it never worked. Maybe the Kook is upset because he thinks he's smarter than everyone else and can't understand why things aren't working for him the way he thinks they should be.

Jealousy is an ugly thing. Especially when you're jealous of something like intelligence or talent, things in which you can never catch up to the other guy. Let's all pity the Kook.

Hein sight

Robin Yess has changed her tactics. Instead of fighting for smaller government she is backing county exec Mike Hein, a big government democrat.

Why, you ask?

Simple. Terry Bernardo and Mike Hein have been feuding and Robin is stupid enough to believe that the enemy of her enemy is her friend. Trouble is, Hein is a politician. He helps people who can bring him votes. That's the way the game works. This doesn't make him corrupt, it just makes him a politician.

Robin has no influence with anyone. She can't help Hein with anything. This game of hers will get her nothing.

This is just another sign that Robin Yess doesn't understand politics. And another sign that she doesn't believe in smaller government. Robin only believes in hurting the people who don't back her.

We had no choice, we had to come back

For a little while it looked like Robin Yess and her dingbat brigade were going to stick mostly to real political issues. If that's all she did, we would have no issue with her and the dopes who swarm around her like moths around a flame. So we stayed quiet to see how things would develop.

But she has decided to go back to her hateful self.

She put up a nasty, offensive post about Richard Cahill which has no basis in reality.

We at Mocking Robin think it makes more sense to link to Cahill's response than to write one of our own.

http://cahillonkingston.blogspot.com/2012/08/here-we-go-again.html

We just have the same question we asked when Robin and the Kerhonkson Kook first started going after Cahill. What the hell is wrong with these stupid, stupid people? Why did they think it was a good idea to start going after Cahill in the first place? The guy is one of the best election lawyers in the Hudson Valley. He has more brains in one of his farts than Robin and her siamese twins from Kerhonkson do in their three bodies put together. And he never gives up. You make an enemy of Cahill and he will tear you apart. Just look at the post he wrote about the Kerhonkson Kook.

This is just one more sign that Robin Yess and the rest of her laughing academy shop class are truly dumb people.

Response

Robin Yess's website has a post which includes a copy of an article written by one of her hangers on in defense of her silliness. Mocking Robin is mentioned in the article. One of the things the author writes is that he contacted Mocking Robin through our comments section to ask for an interview.

This is true. He did make contact with us. After a long discussion, we took a vote about whether to respond. The vote was almost unanimous. Only one of us wanted to answer his questions.

The reason we decided to ignore his request is simple. He is not unbiased. He was obviously writing a fluff piece to defend the reprehensible attack blog run by Robin Yess and her ridiculous little band of crotchety complainers.

The person who wrote the piece has a blog which is full of weird things. In April, he posted a vide which claimed to prove that JFK was shot by his own driver. He said that an anti-terrorist exercise by the Kingston PD was an experiment in martial law. In a post he called "Books or Boobs?" he put up a photo of a woman with massive breasts, cupping them to hold them up and added underneath: "I wasn't thinking of Sheyla Hershey, who has the world's largest breasts, when I wrote the headline, but a picture of her boobs is more interesting than one of O'Reilly the boob." He calls Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich "goofballs like Rick Sanitarium and Speaker Newt Moonbeam."

When writing about Jesse Ventura's Conspiracy Theory TV show, he says "I think Jesse Ventura is performing a major public service. Whether the power plant in Alaska is really a Tesla death ray machine or there were bombs used at the World Trade Center on 9/11 are grist for Ventura's imagination."

He seems to fit in just fine with Robin's paranoid little cabal.

For the record, we did not post his comments because they were not actually comments. They were private messages to the writers at Mocking Robin. we knew he would take a few quotes and use them out of context but that's OK. That's what Robin and her followers do. We stand by what we have written on this blog since we started it. Robin is an angry, bitter person who does not understand that she was not forced out of her republican chair position by a conspiracy. She was forced out by her own incompetence. The same people who voted her in made her resign. You can either say they were right both times or they were wrong both times. To say they were right when they gave her what she wanted and wrong when they took it away from her is just proof of how self centered Robin really is.

Just because this person writes a biased piece for a small local paper doesn't change the truth.

Smarter Charter

Robin Yess's latest post is a doozy. She proves that she doesn't understand the way government works. She accuses Terry Bernardo of manipulating the county charter revision process just because the laws and rules committee did not totally accept the report of the charter revision commission. What Robin is saying is that just because the Legislature is chaired by Bernardo, it should abandon its duties and not review and modify the changes suggested by the commission. She wants to replace the judgment of people elected by the voters with the suggestions of an appointed commission.

No wonder Robin couldn't run the republican committee. She doesn't even understand how democracy works.

The Charter says "Within five years after the enactment of this Charter, and at least every 10 years thereafter, a Charter Revision Commission shall be appointed to review and make recommendations to the County Executive and Legislature on amendments, additions or revisions to this County Charter."

Recommendations, Robin. Do you understand English? Recommendations.

That does not mean anybody is supposed to accept those suggestions without questions. The commission is made up of our neighbors. They aren't dictators. What is really disrespectful to these people is to assume that they would be insulted or feel disrespected because the legislature does not consider them to be God. These people are adults and knew when they went in there that their suggestions would be reviewed and modified. You want to treat them with respect? Don't act as if they are children and need to be protected. And don't use them as a political weapon.

And why does Robin feel the need to point out that Richard Cahill didn't attend as many meetings as the others? Is this another shot at Cahill, who is being viciously attacked by Robin's Kerhonkson pit bull? Cahill joined the commission later. Of course he didn't attend as many meetings as the other members did. Making mention of that without being clear about the reason is just nasty.

We at Mocking Robin believe that the list of people who Robin owes an apology to is growing by the day. And it is getting really, really long.

New blog

We just received a comment about a new blog called Ulster Asylum. It's pretty funny. Looks like Robin and her stupid friends are pissing off more people all the time.

We at Mocking Robin say The more the merrier.

http://ulsterasylum.blogspot.com

Discriminating Minds

Robin Yess's Kerhonkson Kook buddy is at it again. Doesn't this guy get it?

First he reposts a comment attacking Len Bernardo for hurrying a zumba group out of his riunk when a group of Jewish boys was coming in "to make sure that a group of boys didn lay eyes on us lest their religion blow up in their faces..."

Then, he posts a piece claiming his ditzy wife not winning anything is the result of discrimination.

Is the Kerhonkson Kook really this dumb? Or is it that he just doesn't care that people know what a hypocrite he is when he uses prejudiced remarks to attack Bernardo but then uses the discrimination card to benefit his wife?

Either way, if these are the kinds of people Robin counts on, her little group of misfits is screwed.

Foiled Part Two

Yesterday, we reported that Robin Yess was trying to make hay out of the normal way FOIL requests are handled by the county. This morning, a comment appeared on Robin's website. It supposedly came from Walter Frey although a later commenter questioned that. Somebody will probably make fun of the typos because Robin's supporters don't understand that when people post from their phones, typos happen.

We think it probably did come from Frey. The comment had to be posted by someone who understands the way the process works.

A couple of us know him although some of us never met him. Those of us at Mocking Robin who do know him think the republicans and the independence party made a big mistake in not nominating him. He was no doubt a better choice than the one they made.

Those who don't know Frey have no opinion on the question.

What none of us can figure out is why someone like Frey would ever hook up with a basket of nutjobs like the Liberty Coalition. He is obviously way out of their league.

Frey's comment from Robin's website:

The audio files are not posted. Only a transcript of the meeting. Then the minutes are approved by commituutee before being posted….I would bet that the transcript are not done yet or approved. Vicky is doing her job so don’t shoot the messenger. Vicky has return to a office dysfunctionality. With the loss of the person that kept that office together and running professionaly Karen Binder, god rest her soul. Don’t except things to be the same for a long time.

Walter Frey

Curses. Foiled again.

Now Robin Yess is showing how far she has to stretch to make a point. She is complaining that the County told her she has to wait 7-10 days for a response to a Freedom of Information Law (FOIL) request. And she's trying to make it out like it's some big anti-Robin conspiracy. Can we spell PARANOID?

Come on. Letters like that are standard responses. First, they have to find the thing being asked for and then the lawyers have to make sure that it is eligible for release under Freedom of Information. If it contains sensitive materials like employee personal information, it can't be released.

The thing she is asking for is an audio file. It's not something a lawyer can just skim through. He actually has to sit down and listen to the whole thing.

So just chill out and wait your turn. Impatience is for children. Oh wait. For a second we forgot this was Robin Yess we were talking about.

More Kookery

The Kerhonkson Kook has obviously either lost his mind or is just trying to cause more damage to a well known republican. Now he's accusing Richard Cahill (a man who has proven total loyalty to the republican party many many times) of running for mayor of Kingston as the conservative party candidate only because he wanted to hand the election to Shayne Gallo.

This is stupid. Cahill has never done anything to help a democrat. Even the idea is idiotic. Besides, Polacco never had a chance and Levin was the worst possible candidate to every run for mayor of Kingston. Those two are as incompetent as Robin Yess who everyone knew was secretly backing Levin.

If the Kook actually believes this crap about third party candidates, why did his dizzy wife run on a made up third party line against the republican nominee last year? Why did he help Robin push 2 other candidates on that line? Why is he part of a group which wants to unseat 7 republican legislators using that same line?

This entire post on the kook's blog is about 2 things. He wants to hurt Cahill because Cahill dared criticize him and he wants people to think Robin made the right choice in backing Levin.

Why is the Kerhonkson Kook such a hypocrite?

Comment on Smokey's Blog

A comment appeared this morning on the Kerhonkson Kook's blog. We're just going to copy and paste it here. It speaks for itself. What more could we possibly add?

I do live in Accord and I used to support you and Manu. I thought the whole porno accusation was terrible. I worked the United Rochester phonebank in 2007 to get Manu elected. As a republican woman I thought it was great that we republicans had a woman on the town board.
Then I watched you guys change. You turned on everyone who helped you. Alot of us know how much Ohalloran and Chipman and others helped you. You screwed over all of them. Alot of us know about the stupid fight about the flagpole at the veteran’s memorial. We know how the power went to Manu’s head and how she went into the Youth Commission and started giving everyone orders.
We know how every time someone criticized either of you even a little, you turned your mean spirited poison pen on them. You are a very unpleasant man. Why anyone would want to associate with you is beyond me,
I was excited to be involved in politics 6 years ago. I thought I was finally doing something to help change things for the better. After I saw how dirty you made everything I got out. Thanks alot, Jon. You and Manu ruined it for me and a lot of others. You could have done some real good. You chose to make it all about you. You and people like you are exactly why people don’t like politics.

20 Questions

Since Robin and her Lollipop Guild are so hung up on who we really are, we'll make them an offer. Let's play 20 Questions. You ask 20 yes or no questions (no names in the questions, though) and we'll answer them. They still won't be able to figure out who we are.

It is interesting, though, that they have accused us of being everyone from Mr. Clean to the Stay Puff Marshmallow Man. Do these multiple guesses mean they have finally accepted that we are more than one person? Or are they just throwing darts in the dark hoping they'll hit something?

The real problem is that they can't stand a dose of their own medicine. They have insulted and dragged several people through the mud and nobody said anything. All we are doing is playing by their rules. If Robin's good pal can call people "weasels," we can call them stupid. The only difference is we have real proof and they just talk talk talk with nothing to back them up.

Geographic traffic

It seems that the Smokeboy has gotten his panties in a bunch over Mocking Robin saying he lives in Accord. On his wispy little blog, he quotes us as using Accord instead of Kerhonkson as his address. He has also purposely misquoted us, so we're going to give you the actual quotes. Just to clear the record.

The first one is almost accurate. He says that we wrote:

"We at Mocking Robin kept warning that schmuck from Accord but he was just too stupid to listen. He just had to keep sticking his ugly face inside the hornet's nest..."

What we actually wrote was:

"We kept warning that schmuck from Accord but he was too stupid to listen. He just had to keep sticking his ugly face inside the hornet's nest."

OK, close enough. And the next one is correct except for the extra dots he added after the word stupid, but we have no problem with that. He must have nervous fingers when typing:

"What's really sad is not that our good friend from Accord is stupid... It's that he is so stupid he thinks he's smart and doesn't realize that he is severely IQ deficient. A true useless idiot."

But  the next one was edited together from two separate quotes. He claims we wrote:

"We at Mocking robin wonder what the stupid gnomelike asskissers from Accord think of this kind of dealmaking..."

What we really said was:

"We at Mocking Robin wonder what Robin's two Accord buddies think of this kind of dealmaking."

And

"Robin's pride is making her the laughing stock of Ulster county. Along with her nasty and stupid gnomelike asskissers from Accord."

None of this is really a big deal. We wrote what we wrote and we stand by it. He quoted us saying things about him and we don't deny we wrote them:
  • A schmuck
  • Ugly
  • Stupid
  • IQ deficient
  • A useless idiot
  • Gnomelike
  • An asskisser
  • From Accord
We just have one thing to note. Out of this whole list, the only thing he objected to, the only thing he said we were wrong about was him living in Accord. Wow. The last thing we expected was for Smokey to agree with us on so many things!

Turns out he actually lives in Kerhonkson. We apologize. To those of us in the north of the county, Accord and Kerhonkson are more or less the same place. We at Mocking Robin pride ourselves on accuracy. From now on, he will be the Kerhonkson Kook.

Liberty Coalition group photo

We heard from some people that Robin's Liberty Coalition may or may not have had a July 4th barbecue this weekend. We are disappointed that we were not invited although we do understand. A few of our little group would eat anything they see. Robin would have run out of food if we came.

We are lucky, though, that someone sent us the group photo of the three leaders of this Liberty Coalition. Can anyone recognize the one who ran for county legislature from Accord and lost big time?

Just a note

We received a comment this morning alleging that someone had killed someone else. We decided not to allow it to be posted. If you believe someone has committed a crime, contact the police. That is the place to accuse someone of a crime.

If you want to use the words kill or murder, you need to understand that those words actually mean something under the law. Only a sick mind would use those words without proof of a crime.

Smokey the Bore

The guy who runs that smokehouse website in Accord is too funny. He has been all over the map accusing anyone and everyone of running Mocking Robin. It is clearly driving him crazy that he can't figure it out.

Well, we aren't about to tell him. This is just too much fun. It's like watching a a dog who can't smell trying to find his treats.

We will give him 3 hints, though.

1. We're more than one person. He and Robin hate that idea because they want everyone to believe they are the ones fighting for the little guy. If there is a group of people out there who can't stand their nasty, hateful crap that makes it hard for them to keep claiming that they are something they aren't.

2. We have people in our group who used to be close to Robin and we have people who used to be close to the Accord Dork. Both these arrogant fools have a history of driving people away who have helped them. Most people thank those who help them out. Robin and the Dysfunctional Duo all tell their friends  "It's my way or the highway." The things we have heard these three say to and about people would make your hair curl.

3. We do not have any current or former county legislators or republican or independence party leaders as part of our group. We can narrow it down a little more for you, too. We don't have state assemblymen, state senators, congressmen, US senators, members of the cabinet or Supreme Court judges in our group. One of our members stayed in a Holiday Express in Idaho last week and another was a Cub Scout for several years. Coincidentally, she and Robin were the only female members of the Cub Scouts ever. lmao

That's all you get. Keep guessing, Sherlock.

Oh, and it's kind of funny that Smokey makes a point of telling everyone that he doesn't run the Ulster County Cloakroom blog. Why is it that the only link on Smokey's blogroll which doesn't appear on Ulster County Cloakroom's blogroll is Ulster County Cloakroom itself? Hmm???

We're not going to play guessing games but it seems a little too coincidental. rofl

Too funny

We must really be getting under Robin's skin. She just launched a direct attack on Mocking Robin. Just not a very intelligent one. We have to assume that she is learning the fine art of taking quotes out of context because she put up a list of quotes from both this blog and her own petty website trying to make it look like she is something other than what she is.

The funniest one is where she lists four political points to make herself look like she cares about principles. Actions speak louder than words though. Even though every once in a while she talks about some political ideas, the only thing she is doing when it comes to action is trying to unseat Terry Bernardo. Look at the ridiculous letter she sent to Roger Rascoe. In her own words, "We intend to spend every penny we raise to elect a new Chair of the Legislature and to get rid of all of Bernardo’s poorly chosen appointees..."

She doesn't care about principles. She says that she will spend every cent she raises (which won't be much) to attack Terry Bernardo. Those are her words. Not ours.

She also calls us at Mocking Robin RINOs. First, she keeps assuming that this blog is written by one person because she can't stand the idea that several people would band together to show the county who she is. Second, it's kind of hypocritical for someone who jumps from party to party and who has abandoned the republican party she once sort of led to call others Republicans In Name Only.

So here's a list of just a few of the ways Robin has shown herself to be a hypocrite.

1. She attacked Richard Cahill for running on a third party ticket against a republican in Kingston last year while she created a third party line and ran three candidates against republicans at the same time.

2. She attacked the Bernardos for not creating enough jobs at their skating rink after being given a tax break. Not that they created no jobs. Just that they did not create enough jobs. At the same time, her closest buddies in Accord erased half a million bucks in debt in bankruptcy and never created a single job. That's not a problem for Robin. But creating some jobs is a problem. Has Robin ever created jobs?

3. She criticized Mario Catalano for his decisions as republican chairman and for not raising enough money but Robin made no real decisions as chairwoman and showed herself to be at least as bad at fundraising if not worse.

4. She criticizes us for being anonymous but has no problem with tons of nasty comments attacking anyone she doesn't like on her website. For the record, we are anonymous because she and her Accord pit crew would rather attack the messenger than answer the real questions being raised. She did that in her last post. Robin never answers any real criticisms. She just cherry picks the things she wants to answer and then she answers those things badly.

5. She gets annoyed at stinging criticism, especially if it is somehow insulting to her. But she is real happy to let her talentless artist buddy throw vicious things at anybody she or he dislike. The things on his website are much much worse than anything we have ever written. We know we're not gentle here but his two sites look like they were written by rats eating each other.

Robin is a hypocrite. That's the way it is. But we're glad she finds us so annoying. It makes it all worthwhile.

Holy smoke!

We kept warning that schmuck from Accord but he was too stupid to listen. He just had to keep sticking his ugly face inside the hornet's nest. Now Richard Cahill has struck back. Hard.

Cahill posted a long, long piece on just who this clown is. We're not going to rehash everything Cahill wrote but it's worth reading. We knew the Accord Ass was a jerk. His own website shows us that. But we never knew all the details. Cahill puts it all out there. Holy smoke!

What does Lame Ass have to say in response? He puts up a highly intelligent post claiming the Cahill is a useful idiot. Anyone who has ever met Cahill knows that he is anything but an idiot. He's one of the smartest people you could ever meet.

What's really sad is not that our good friend from Accord is stupid. It's that he is so stupid he thinks he's smart and doesn't realize that he is severely IQ deficient. A true useless idiot.

We at Mocking Robin just have to wonder what that makes Robin Yess for allying with him? Is she just as stupid and doesn't realize the people she's hooked up with are dumb? Or does she know and is using them anyway?

Which is worse?

Robin, when are you going to learn that no means no?

First Robin tries to convince Richard Cahill not to run against Kevin Cahill for Assembly even though Richard made it very clear he wasn't running. Now, she's accusing Len Bernardo of trying to convince Wayne Harris not to try to unseat Terry Bernardo as chairman of the county legislature even though Harris has made it very clear that he doesn't want the position and is refusing to talk to Robin.

We at Mocking Robin have to wonder when Robin will learn that no means no. If someone says he's not running, why would anyone keep talking about him running? If someone keeps doing this irrational thing, is that someone you want to listen to when she gives advice nobody asked for about campaigns?

Get it through your head once and for all, Robin. You are an incompetent. You have never done a single thing right in politics. You have never won anything. You raised no money when you were the republican chairman. You lose at everything. What the hell is so hard about accepting that this isn't your strong point?

Pride is one of the deadly sins. Robin's pride is making her the laughing stock of Ulster county. Along with her nasty and stupid gnomelike asskissers from Accord.

Count Dogula

Robin's smokey friend is once again attacking Richard Cahill. This time his childishness is all about doing some math.

Cahill used hyperbole (since you like to correct everyone's English, maybe you should look it up) by saying "If I had a nickel during my tenure as a prosecutor for every time a victim of domestic violence came to the office asking to drop charges, I would have retired 15 years ago."

This incredibly stupid buffoon doesn't get it when people exaggerate to make a point. He has no problem exaggerating damn near everything he writes on his blog about the Bernardos. It kind of looks like exaggerating is OK if this joker does it to hurt people but it's some sort of crime if it is used to make a point without hurting anyone.

But maybe Cahill should listen to this guy about math. He's pretty good at it. Especially adding things up. The way he added up over $900 thousand in debts before he declared bankruptcy. That's OK though. The court only discharged half a million of those debts and (in his own words according to the Shawangunk Journal)  "out of which about 20 percent consists in credit card late fees accrued after contacting the bankruptcy lawyer." So if 100 grand are just late fees, that makes it all cool. Because he's a math genius.

Crazed in Accord

We warned him. We warned him and he didn't listen.

Accord's own Deputy Dawg just had to go pick a fight with Richard Cahill and now he's going nuts because he is losing. In a post yesterday on his smoke and mirrors blog, the bearded wonder attacked Cahill in a long rambling tantrum.

Cahill answered in just 5 lines at 9:41 PM last night. Hairy Harry must have been playing Dracula because he was up all night writing his senseless response. This long incomprehensible gothic novel which made no sense was up at 6:01 AM this morning. He even added a picture of Pretty Boy Floyd and some idiotic story of a three year old making up the Pretty Boy nickname he tried to give Cahill.

It looks like he took Cahill's five line response as a "lame gay joke" that he just had to answer. Could this be a case of someone protesting too much? Is the beard there to prove his masculinity when people question it?

We are glad he explained that he didn't speak English before the age of 33. Now we know why his attacks are so hard to understand. Maybe by the time he turns 93 his English will get good enough to read.

Dude, we told you. And we're telling you again. don't mess with Richard Cahill. He's got ten times more brains and balls than you and your ditzy wife and Robin combined. You can't win. Not by the hair of your chinny chin chin.

Give it up. Go back to designing ugly covers for foreign language literary magazines that are read by 10 people max. You can pat yourself on the back for doing something "exclusive."

Stop the nonsense

The following comment was posted on Robin's website today:

June 28, 2012 at 9:37 PM

Please, I beg of you…Let us deal with our loss of Karen and stop this madness. This is not the place for such nonsense. At least respect our wishes right now. Time takes care of everything. Ellen DiFalco

We at Mocking Robin will not post anymore remarks about this, no matter how hurtful Robin is with her abusive posts which use a tragedy for her own political ends. If we have added to the family's pain with our posts, we are truly sorry. That was never what we wanted. We hope Robin will stop, as well.

Even when she answers, she has nothing to say

Our friend Robin responded on her site to a post from earlier today. We accused her of being anti-democratic in a letter she sent to Roger Rascoe, a letter which has been widely circulated and is far from secret. She says we accused her of talking to Wayne Harris about becoming chairman of the legislature. Silly girl, you might want to learn to read. Your illiteracy is showing.

What we wrote was "If that's not bad enough, Wayne Harris has made it clear that he doesn't even want the job so she's dragging someone into her pettiness who doesn't want to be there."

The only other place we mention Harris is when we quote her letter directly. Does anyone see us saying she spoke to Harris? Robin must not know how to read very well.

Harris is a smart legislator. The last thing he would want to do is talk to a nobody like Robin Yess. Nobody in his right mind would think that Robin and Harris had a real conversation.

By the way, she never answered the meat of the post. She is admitting to trying to collect special interest money to attack a democratically elected chairman and she openly tried to convince Roger Rascoe to make exactly the same kind of political deal that Ren and Stimpy from Accord accused the Bernardos of making.

But we at Mocking Robin understand that it's much easier to make up things about our posts than to answer the real questions. That's Robin for you.

When mice fight lions

This morning, Robin's graffiti master from Accord decided it would be fun to attack Richard Cahill. This guy has been picking fights with Cahill for the last few weeks and we can't figure out what his point is.

Anyone who has ever met Cahill knows that he's this bulldog who doesn't let go. He's smart and tough and is maybe the worst guy in the county to attack. But this guy has decided to do it anyway.

We at Mocking Robin always thought it was his wife who is stupid. We thought he was just mean and nasty. Now we see that they are equally dumb. They deserve each other.

Attacking democracy

A few days ago, Robin Yess sent a letter to Roger Rascoe which she cc-ed to the town republican Chairmen and other party leaders. In her letter, she demanded that Roger force Terry Bernardo to step down as Chairman of the county legislature.

It's no secret that Robin and her hyena horde hate Terry Bernardo. But this time she's actually demanding Rascoe to go against the democratic election of Bernardo.

First, she tells Rascoe that she is raising money from a special interest in order to get Terry thrown out. She says "The Liberty Coalition recently launched a fundraising campaign to increase our efforts and impact and you won't be surprised that we have the support of much of the legal community. We intend to spend every penny we raise to elect a new chair of the Legislature..."

We have no problem with lawyers or even with raising money from professional organizations. But Robin presents herself like some kind of libertarian saint. How does that work when she uses money from a small group of people to throw out someone who was elected democratically?

Then, Robin goes on to say "The majority of Democrats would be happy to support Wayne Harris to replace the current chair. He has the respect of all the legislators and has the experience to do the job in a non-partisan manner. With most of the Democrats on board, only a few Republican votes are needed to make that happen."

So Robin is telling the republican chair that he should get a few legislators to make a deal with the democrats and dump the chair his party elected. She wants him to betray his own party. We're not surprised seeing as how Robin jumped ship the moment things got tough or the way she jumps from party to party every few years.

If that's not bad enough, Wayne Harris has made it clear that he doesn't even want the job so she's dragging someone into her pettiness who doesn't want to be there.

We at Mocking Robin wonder what Robin's two Accord buddies think of this kind of dealmaking. They were pretty angry about the same sort of thing when they accused Terry and Len Bernardo of doing that to keep dizzy Manny off the legislator ticket a couple years ago.

We doubt it will matter though. Robin and her buddies don't care about principles. They care about hurting the Bernardos and nothing else.

Capitalizing on a tragedy

Robin Yess has gone too far this time. She has actually criticized people for offering kind words for the late Legislature clerk Karen Binder and sympathy to her family. Robin wrote this on her mean little website:

Nope, it’s not a fishing trip and there isn’t a flood coming, but the BS sure is getting deep around here so you better break out your waders. There’s nothing like taking advantage of a situation to press the flesh and impress the press. The phony, sympathetic looks and the prepared statements regarding Karen Binder’s passing aren’t fooling anyone.
We at Mocking Robin do not pretend to know what is in anyone's heart when they offer sympathy after someone dies. We do know, though, that when someone attacks someone else for saying something nice, there is something really wrong with that person. To try to score political points because somebody died is just disgusting.

Robin and her group of yapping lapdogs have gone from being just nasty to being ghoulish.

Robin Letterman's List of Top Ten Things To Blame on the Bernardos

Seeing as how Robin Yess has tried to blame anything and everything on Len and Terry Bernardo, we thought it might be fun to explore a few other things her silly brain probably thinks is Len and Terry's fault even if she doesn't say so out loud.

Here's the list in chronological order.

  1. The extinction of the dinosaurs
  2. Global warming
  3. The Loch Ness Monster
  4. The Kennedy assassination (that was Len in a Lee Harvey Oswald costume)
  5. Sightings of Elvis working in a gas station in Peoria
  6. Crop circles
  7. Dollar stores which sell everything for more than a dollar
  8. Reality TV's popularity
  9. Mainstream acceptance of tattoos and piercings
  10. Charlie Sheen's comeback
We are sure that there are many other things Robin believes are caused by the Bernardos, especially when she is sitting in a dark room listening to The Carpenters and James Taylor. But we think you get the picture.

Disinformation

This morning there was a comment on Robin's little blog:

I sent a post to mocking robin aliging the truth about your post about the cancer patient lets see if she post it we terry…Is mocking robin….

We won't even talk about the commenter's poor command of the English language. That sort of speaks for itself. What is important though is that no comment relating to Robin's vicious push poll was ever submitted here.

Robin's hangers on sure are trying hard to discredit us. We at Mocking Robin can only assume that the truth hurts.

Push poll disgust

Now Robin is going too far. She has put up a ridiculous poll asking how you would classify someone who take benefits away from someone who has stage 4 cancer. The possible answers were Malicious, Evil, Heartless and All of the Above.

We at Mocking Robin are not sure who the cancer patient is but we can be sure of three things. One, since no one has the opportunity to choose anything but a bad vote, the results will be 100% what she wants. Hardly a poll anybody can trust. Two, Robin is going to twist whatever circumstance she is going to reveal into something it really isn't. It won't be the first time. Three, dragging a cancer patient into her political sickness is All of the Above. That's our vote at Mocking Robin.

You can pick your friends, you can pick your nose but why pick a fight you can't win?

Robin, Robin, Robin. Haven't you learned not to pick fights with people who are clearly smarter than you are?

Robin is continuing her ill conceived feud with Richard Cahill. She and Bearded Frick and Clueless Frack (would no fracking mean she had to leave NY?) of Accord have been taking potshots at Cahill for no good reason.

Now she's also showed what a ridiculous hypocrite she is. She's criticizing Cahill for running on the conservative line against Gallo and Polacco for mayor of Kingston last year. This from a woman who did nothing but back third party candidates against republicans on her made up line in that same election! Walter Frey against Bob Aiello, Laura Petit against Carl Belfiglio and Manuela Michailescu against Terry Bernardo.

Let's recap Robin's political history. She ran for county legislator and lost. She ran for state assembly and lost. She was republican county executive director and is blaming Mario Catalano for everything that went wrong when she had her hand in every decision. She was elected republican county chairwoman because no one else ran and couldn't even serve out a full term before her lack of skill forced her out. She started a so called political action committee that has maybe half a dozen hangers on. Everyone she endorsed lost.

So, we at Mocking Robin have just one question. When all someone does is lose, why would anyone take her advice on campaigning?

How to Make Enemies and Incense People

As if Robin Yess and her weird little horde didn't have enough enemies, now she's going out of her way to pick fights with people for no good reason.

Her latest misstep is in criticizing attorney Richard Cahill for taking the republican nomination against Kevin Cahill. She really doesn't get it that her track record on elections is so pathetic that nobody should ever do anything she says in a campaign. Is she still pissed off that her candidate lost the nomination? Doesn't she get it that her endorsement or support is the death blow to any campaign? All the democrats need to do to win an election is get Robin to back the republican. No fundraising or campaigning. Just get Robin to endorse the republican and the democrats win.

That's how poor her political skills are.

Worse, Richard Cahill has said many times that he only took the nomination as a placeholder, not to run. So Robin's dumb shot at him did nothing at all to influence anyone. All it did is get Cahill on the anti-Robin bandwagon.

We at Mocking Robin have to wonder why Robin on her website and her unintelligent playmates to the south of us on their smoke and mirrors blog would do their best to pick a fight with Cahill. Seems like a pretty stupid move to us. Then again, Robin and pals are full of dumb moves.

Expert Opinion

Robin's latest attempt at becoming relevant is a post giving her opinion about the Kevin Cahill race. She talks about how disappointed she is that Kevin is probably going to be running unopposed this year. She complains that Peter Rooney is not running, something he has not made public but which she says she knows for sure.

Surprisingly, we at Mocking Robin are in agreement with the idea that Rooney should run again and force Kevin to at least defend his record. The problem we have is that Robin pretends to be some sort of expert.

She did run for the Assembly against Kevin Cahill 4 years ago. That's sort of a point in her favor. But she got beat like a drum. She got less than 30% of the vote and Kevin got over 60%. That's a 2 to 1 thrashing for anyone who's counting.

Robin also got a grand total of two large donations for her campaign. One was from the county republican committee, the committee led back then by the same Mario Catalano she complained about just 2 months ago. Robin said of Mario "If history is an indicator of future results, wouldn't a position on the “fund-spending” committee be more appropriate?" Kind of funny that she was fine with Mario spending 5 grand on her campaign but not when he spent it on other political purposes.

The other big donation was from some guy in NJ. Every other donation was a few hundred dollars tops.

There also wasn't alot of fundraising done when she was republican chairwoman.

So isn't it a little like the pot calling the kettle black for Robin Yess to give out opinions on who should run against Kevin Cahill or who should be doing fundraising for the republican party?

Think about it. Republicans complain that we have a president who had no record of success before he became president. Now we're supposed to listen to the opinions of someone who also had no record of political success?

We at Mocking Robin think this is pretty ridiculous.

What Is He Smoking?

One of Robin Yess's immature little playmates has started a blog he is calling the Smokeout. Our question is what is this guy smoking? He's apparently either not too bright or he doesn't read the things the leader of his flock of birdbrains is writing on her website. Or both.

Robin accused a former county legislator of running Mocking Robin along with a couple of other blogs. Now her buddy is saying that it is Terry Bernardo behind our site. This is so incredibly comical, like the old black and white silent movies where two guys are trying to go through the same door. I'm sure Robin's pal knows about those movies since he claims to be a former movie maker back in his home country. Too bad nobody ever actually saw any of those movies, at least nobody we know of. Maybe some communist party apparatchiks did in some obscure cabin on the sea. But nobody who actually matters.

Could you guys at least coordinate your fingerpointing so you don't look completely dumb?

Getting back to the point, we must really be getting under the skins of Robin and her tiny cabal. They are desperately trying to figure out who we are. They want so badly for people to believe that we are political leaders because that would allow them to keep telling people that they are victims of some backroom political conspiracy.

Hate to tell you guys, but Mocking Robin is not written by anyone who is or was in the republican party leadership. We are all just everyday folks who have had enough of your kindergarten antics. You can spin it any way you want. We are who we are and it ain't who you think. But keep on accusing people. It's pretty funny.

Credit Where Credit Is Due

Since Robin Yess made mention of this blog in two of her recent posts, our page views have jumped to almost double our best day before. We at Mocking Robin think it only appropriate to thank her for her help in getting our name out there.

On the other hand, she jumps to unfounded conclusions in her posts. We are not republican leaders. We are not republican committeemen. We are not current or former county legislators. We are not members of third parties or some shadowy cabal bent on taking over the county. Not one of us is any of these things.

We can see why Robin would love to think we are these people because she desperately wants to believe that these are the only people who can be annoyed at her mudslinging. The problem with her thought process is that she is not some superhero, fighting for the little guy. She's just a bitter, angry person who hasn't come to grips with her inability to lead the republican party because of her own lack of talent.

We are just people who watch ulster politics and are fed up with the anger and hate. If you think about it, that's not such a bad thing, is it?

Are They Your Friends?

In a new post, Robin Yess is upset that people accuse her of hating the Bernardos. We at Mocking Robin think the proof is in the pudding. Her website is built on an unending series of posts attacking the Bernardos and her bestest buddies run a website and now a blog which has the most sickening, hateful posts about Terry and Len Bernardo.

In a recent post her playmates put on both their site and their blog, they call Terry Bernardo and Jeremy Blaber weasels. Is that responsible politics? Is that the kind of childish trash Robin wants to be associated with?

If she wants to be taken seriously and not accused of hating people, maybe she should distance herself from people who do nothing but hate. Maybe she should do something constructive for a change instead of trying to tear people down.

Lawyer Joke

We at Mocking Robin aren't quite sure who Robin Yess thinks she's fooling with her laughable statements about Langdon Chapman. Her entire position is basically If he ain't from Ulster, he's no good.

Yeah. That makes sense. Take the taxpayers' money and spend it on less than the best just because we want to keep it inside the county.

Now, we know that there are plenty of really good lawyers in Ulster County but that doesn't mean that we have the very best available municipal attorneys. That's not an insult to any lawyer in Ulster. If you need a neurosurgeon, you don't choose the top cardiologist. The cardiologist is probably the best guy to take care of your heart for you. But that doesn't make him a neurosurgeon. Actually, he would probably be a pretty bad neurosurgeon.

We don't just need a lawyer in general. We need the best municipal specialist our money can buy. Just because someone is from Ulster doesn't make him the best.

You would think that Robin, seeing as she's always talking about being fiscally conservative, would want our tax money spent on the very best lawyer we can find. Within driving distance, Chapman is the best. He's one of the most skilled municipal attorneys in the state and we're lucky to have him for such a low price. Plus, we don't have to pay him any benefits because of the way Terry Bernardo negotiated the deal.

So what's the problem? Are we supposed to choose our county legislature attorney by territory? Unless we're dogs marking a tree, that approach is pretty much worthless.

Robins nest in trees. Dogs mark them. Creative visionaries use the wood to build beautiful homes.

That's the difference between Terry Bernardo and Robin Yess. While Bernardo is looking for ways to build our county up, Robin and her band of merry misfits are peeing all over everything and everybody, trying to mark their territory.

Five Birds With One Rock

I guess we're getting under Robin's skin. She posted a video of the Jackson 5 singing Rocking Robin on her site. I guess it's kind of appropriate. Five is the number of people who actually believe her.

Guilt By Association

One of Robin Yess's most recent posts on her website actually makes some interesting points. It is one of the few posts which have something to say. Too bad Robin ruins it by throwing in a jab at Terry Bernardo by somehow blaming her for someone else's political opinion. As if it is somehow wrong to respect the first amendment and accept a friend's right to his own opinion even if it is not the same as hers.

It just goes to show that what we at Mocking Robin have been saying is true. Her little group of misfits isn't a political organization. It's a we Hate Terry And Len Club. You have to pity these people. Hating someone so much just has to eat you up inside.

But as long as she has set the standard of guilt by association, maybe it's time she acknowledges just how nasty and disgusting the things her little friends say and write are. Jeremy Blaber may be no angel but he doesn't spend his free time throwing the most disgusting hate at people either. Unlike Robin's buddies.

Pot and Kettle

Our friend Robin's newest post blasts everyone who criticizes her. She basically tells everyone who doesn't like what she has to say to shut up. Way to practice the double standard there, Robin. She does this at the beginning of her post and at the end and she sandwiches a bunch of criticism of other people in between.

Actually, her entire website (and her friends' nasty, hateful website) is nothing but a bunch of criticism of everyone she and her buddies don't like. So, the way it goes is Robin Yess gets to criticize everyone and nobody gets to criticize Robin Yess.

Pot, have you met kettle? You two have a lot in common.

What Is She Trying to Achieve?

The Liberty Coalition web site lists 9 seats in the county legislature Robin Yess hopes to challenge. Out of those 9, 7 are Republicans, 1 is a Democrat who was endorsed by the Republicans and only 1 is an out and out Democrat. On the list, she targets the county legislature's chairman and majority leader.

So what is she trying to achieve? All she can do by challenging Republicans instead of Democrats is hurt the Republicans and help the Democrats. Is that what she wants? Does Robin want to hurt Republicans?

It sure seems like it. But we already know that the whole purpose of her Liberty Coalition is to hurt certain people. If she can hurt the Bernardos, what does she care that the entire county would suffer under a Democrat led legislature?

Not that it matters much. Nobody Robin Yess and her new pals support ever gets elected. If Robin opposes you, you are almost guaranteed re-election.

Birds of a Feather

We, the writers of Mocking Robin, are shocked at a recent post on Rochester Republicans (which has nothing to do with the Republicans in the town of Rochester). The person running that so called web site put up a comparison between Terry Bernardo and Elena Ceausescu, wife of the dead dictator of Romania, Nicolae Ceausescu.

This kind of disgusting display makes a mockery out of the deaths of everyone who died under communist, Nazi, fascist and other dictators. It belittles the suffering of millions of people. And it does so because a few petty, small minded, mean people want to hurt a single politician.

The Rochester Republicans web site is run by people who are involved in Robin Yess's Liberty Coalition. It just goes to show you what kind of people have joined up with her campaign of revenge. What does her association with them say about her?

We hope that Robin Yess has the decency to distance herself from the hateful posts made by her cohorts. we would be very sad if it turned out that she supports this kind of disrespectful hatred.

Mocking Robin

This silliness has gone on long enough. For months, we have been watching a former county chairwoman make a fool out of herself. Robin Yess is so consumed with rage towards Len and Terry Bernardo that everything political she does is aimed at hurting them.

She even concocted a cockamamie organization she calls the Liberty Coalition which she says is about conservative values but all it does is spew hatred towards the Bernardos. She has hooked up with people who have become known for anger and nastiness.

Her Liberty Coalition endorsed candidates for the county legislature mostly by choosing people who would cheese the Bernardos off. They all lost.

She tried to file charges against Terry Bernardo over the stupid idea that giving people a sandwich lunch is the same as bribing them to sign a petition. Most of those people signed Terry's petitions before! They were going to sign whether they were given a sandwich or not. The sandwich was to get them to come to a question and answer session about the new districts, not to convince them to do something they would have done anyway!

Why is Robin doing all this? Probably because she blames Len Bernardo for losing her position as republican chairman. The only problem is that she lost her position because of her performance not because of anyone else.

She has enlisted people to write things and make up photoshop pictures for her which are nasty and beneath the dignity of someone who once led the Republican party in Ulster County. She and her buddies are doing nothing but making fools of themselves. Does anybody take this Liberty Coalition dumbness seriously?

So after watching this dopery for months, some of us have decided that the time has come to answer her and her cohorts.

So here we are. Mocking Robin.
